Lisa Noguchi is a certified nurse-midwife with over 20 years of experience in women’s health research and clinical practice from teens to seniors.
She is currently the scientific director for pregnancy research at the Microbicide Trials Network and a Ph.D. candidate in infectious disease epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her current research focuses on contraception and reproductive infectious disease, particularly among women in South Africa.
Lisa is also an advocate for community education on HIV prevention and the inclusion of pregnant and breastfeeding women in clinical research.
